The Programmer Analyst II is responsible for the analysis and development of software enhancements and solutions to problems submitted by users and will define and construct databases and software to meet users requirements. They assist end users in the use of new and modified programs. Additionally, they assist other programmers with their design and implementations. They develop programming applications for the credit union core system, Symitar Episys, related systems using Java and MS Visual Studio .net languages, as appropriate.

| * | Maintains current knowledge of computer technology and makes recommendations for consideration of new technology to management. | |
| * | Proposes potential programming solutions to other developers or management and coordinates implementations with them and other IT departments and management. | |
| * | Provides information for the development of formal or informal end-user training. | |
| * | Provides technical support to IT staff and system users to resolve operational problems quickly and with minimal interruption to service. | |
| * | Responsible for providing the highest level of quality service to both members and co workers. |
Education
Min/Preferred: Preferred
Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
Description: Bachelor's degree in a computer related field preferred.

Comments: Must have recent and relevant experience programming in a financial institution environment or business computing.
