At Haleon the Process Engineer acts as the primary liaison for operational process support, development, and maintenance of assigned products. Their responsibilities include optimizing and ensuring the performance of critical manufacturing and packaging work centers, as well as identifying and executing process improvement projects.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Investigating and resolving day-to-day production problems. Using problem-solving techniques and statistical methods to identify the root causes of failures and recommend necessary changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.

  • Identifying opportunities or implementing changes to improve products and processes or reduce costs using knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling and production equipment, packaging methods, quality control standards or product design, materials and parts; providing technical risk assessments and justification documents.

  • Providing technical process support for products assigned to value stream.

  • Troubleshooting new and existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes.

  • Reviewing product designs for manufacturability and completeness.

  • Troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

  • Applying continuous improvement methods to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost effectiveness. Participating in site-wide priorities and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.

  • Coordinating, conducting, and evaluating experiments that support process changes.

  • Preparing reports summarizing information or trends related to process performance.

  • Facilitating waste reduction through continuous improvement (CI) activities, implementing standard work, line balancing, and capacity analysis.

  • Conducting practical problem-solving training to provide leadership and fellow associates with a sustainable tool to combat process issues.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • 1+ years' experience working in a General Manufacturing Production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or pharmaceutical discipline

  • Project Management and process optimization experience
