Currently, we have an exciting career opportunity for a part time paid Manufacturing Engineer Intern position to assist in projects to improve forging practices, costing, and processes.
Job Aspects:
*Learn about the forging process and production tracking
*Assist with inputting data into ERP/MRP software and general office tasks
*Run daily reports to track production schedule, strong excel skills preferred
*Suggest projects to help improve productivity or reduce variable cost
*Track projects to determine success or failure and the potential impact
*Hold responsible for individual and group projects
*Attend production meetings
*Other projects/duties as needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum second year students working towards Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering only. A strong technical aptitude along with the ability to work independently, yet interact closely with other departments, customers, and vendors.
Intern position will be flexible to work around breaks, weekly school schedule, etc.
