Bachelor's Science in Nursing - BSN (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
5 years Nursing experience. Demonstrated experience in a charge nurse role in a comparable setting. Minimum of one-year recent pediatric experience in a comparable setting. Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience. (Required)

Professional Practice/Research
- Participate in/support Shared Leadership.
- Contribute to CNMC's Magnet Journey.
- Ensure that nursing is based on evidence of best practice.
- Accountable to support/participate the Division of Nursing's Performance Improvement process.

Implements Nursing Process
- Function as a resource in the charge nurse role for all aspects of patient care delivery.
- Continuously evaluate patient care delivered to all patients and families.
- Maintain knowledge and responsibility for patients on the unit.
- Assume direct patient care responsibility as needed, to meet identified patient care needs.

- Utilizes therapeutic communication when dealing with patients and families.
- Demonstrates skillful communication by adapting techniques based on the situation.
- Collaborates with staff, patients/families, and members of the health care team to facilitate patient outcomes.
