As the Market Development Manager, you will be responsible for helping to build awareness for our 3D printing solutions in the Aerospace market. You will collaborate with the Additive Manufacturing Director and the Technology Team, the position will have influence on the platform including the development of marketing strategies and tools, voice of the customer exercises, support of the sales teams in the field, tracking of the competitive landscape and acquisition targets, cross-SBU (Strategic Business Unit) promotion of the technology and development of short- and long-term strategies. This position can be remote or hybrid if located near one of our facilities. You will report to the Additive Manufacturing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing strategy including digital, print and other marketing methods.
Training and supporting the ASC (Aerospace Support Center) sales teams to promote the technology to current and new customers, joint sales calls with end users
Attending technical conferences, presenting the technology and supporting the Aerospace SBU at larger trade shows
Maintenance of the competitive landscape, analysis of potential acquisitions and engaging appropriate targets
Educating other SBUs on the capabilities of the technology, assessing the feasibility of the applications (technical and commercial)
Engaging with customers to understand their pain points and areas where our technology can meet and exceed their goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong presentation skills to share knowledge with internal and external customers
30% - 50% travel, domestic and some international
US Citizen
5+ years' experience with B2B selling
Experience working in both OEM and aftermarket markets
