Job Description

That's why we're looking for a Client Account Analyst to work closely with firm attorneys to develop and manage collection programs for their clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for...

  • Managing collection of assigned client accounts and assisting in developing and implementing collection strategies to achieve established targeted average time for collection
  • Monitoring past due accounts receivable over established guidelines while working with responsible parties to recommend and implement appropriate actions to bring accounts to current status
  • Reconciling client A/R balances to ensure necessary adjustments are made to client invoices
  • Negotiating revised payment arrangements/agreement with clients as needed
  • Providing monthly reports on collection status

The successful candidate will demonstrate...

  • Minimum of three years accounting and finance experience; collection analysis and law firm experience a plus
  • Thorough understanding of accounts receivable and collection policies, procedures and controls
  • Experience using current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office applications (including advanced Excel and Outlook) and an enterprise accounting system; Aderant a plus
  • Ability to perform analysis of cash collection system to make recommendations for improvements and develop plans for collecting on delinquent accounts
  • Strong focus on client service and responsiveness
