The Data Coordinator will receive guidance and direction from the Manager of Data Compliance, and will assist in coordinating data collection and reporting activities for our Rape Treatment Center and Stuart House. Responsibilities include: * Manages department relational databases and electronic recordkeeping systems. * Updates records and extracts data from highly sensitive records. * Analyses data and highly confidential information, and generates custom and "canned" queries and reports. * Reviews entries in the UCLA Health System's electronic record keeping system. * Interfaces with department managers and software developers/vendors. * Manages implementation of new electronic systems (databases and/or electronic recordkeeping). * Trains staff and new hires in the department's data programs/systems and serves as a resource and trouble-shooter. * Assists with and coordinates scheduling of department's crisis response staff. * Provides high-level administrative support to the Manager of Data Compliance. Salary range: $31.03 - $65.90 Hourly
Qualifications

Required: * Bachelor's degree * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with database administration and operation (preferably in a health care setting). * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills. * Advanced skill with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). * Effective skills in listening, critical thinking, and problem solving. * Ability to handle with confidentiality and professionalism sensitive client and patient information and records (including sensitive records that include documentation of rape and child abuse).
