The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator will serve as a Data and Quality Analyst (DQA) for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS program at UCLA Care for Families within the UCLA Department of Pediatrics. The DQA develops a Continuous Quality Management program that improves patient care, health outcomes, and patient satisfaction while ensuring that the CQM program meets HRSA's requirements for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. This position will be responsible for assisting the Ryan White (RW) Team with the design of data collection tools, the acquisition of data, quality assurance for programs, obtaining consumer feedback and input, and the formulation of Corporate, local, state and federal reports with regard to the Health Resources Services Administration/HIV AIDS Bureau (HRSA/HAB) and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Division of HIV and STD Programs.

*This is a limited position that may convert to career.


Salary Range: $26.29 - $42.28 Hourly

Qualifications

Required:

Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.

Strong organizational capabilities.

Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions.

Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.

Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.

Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.

Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.

Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.

Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.

Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.

Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.

Preferred:

Experience in a Health Care Setting.
