The Civil Engineering Specialist will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting high-quality standards, and adhering to project timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the details of project plans, estimates, calculate quantities, reports & prepare exhibits as assigned and directed

  • Provides QC support by following the appropriate procedures as outlined

  • Provides technical and field support during construction phase as necessary

  • Demonstrates an understanding of and an ability to manipulate field survey data

  • Demonstrates an understanding of design manuals, agency standards and procedures

  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of current engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, open Road, etc.) and follows drafting and file naming standards

  • Conveys technical information utilizing clear verbal and written skills

  • Attends relevant professional organization activities to further career development

  • Demonstrates a dedication to the organization and industry through participation in learning and development activities

  • Communicates regularly with supervisor and project team members regarding updates on assigned tasks in a clear, timely manner

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil Engineering

  • 2+ years progressive experience, relevant intern experience is a strong plus

  • EIT strongly preferred, but not required

  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Teams, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other relevant engineering software

  • Ability to work as a productive and effective team member

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks

  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to maximize efficiency

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities

    Compensation Range:

    $67,246.00 - $89,661.00
