Job Description

Job Title: Director of Strategy 
Location: Remote 
Type: Full-Time

We believe in delivering both beautiful and effective business solutions for our clients and we're seeking a dynamic Director of Strategy to help us develop and execute strategies across our clients’ business needs. 

  

Role Overview:

As the Director of Strategy at COACT, you'll play a pivotal role in forming and growing trusted client relationships, creating high-impact strategic direction on current and new client scoped work and, the success we have year-over-year delivering against our clients’ needs. You'll be part of the driving force behind the strength of our ability to turn existing agency relationships into revenue generating client relationships with your ability to understand our clients’ business, generate strategic, thought-provoking and service driven solutions across marketing, advertising and communications.  

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with clients on a range of strategic brand initiatives, including brand positioning, brand architecture, brand analytics, internal brand engagement and digital brand strategy. 

  • Create and direct innovative and thoughtful strategic solutions to complex brand and business challenges on behalf of COACT’s client list. 

  • Build upon a deepening knowledge of business, brand and our clients to deliver strategies that continually evolve client brands, products and initiatives.  

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to build and execute strategic recommendations that will ultimately be brought to market across multiple channels. 

  • Connect with the Accounts team to ensure that initiatives have appropriate resources for development and are ultimately delivered on time and on budget. 

  • Engage in broad-based branding, advertising and communication discussions with clients to identify further opportunities for mutually beneficial growth of COACT and client relationship. 

  • Follow up and manage the new business process on select leads generated by the firm's content-driven marketing efforts and pre-existing relationships, including conducting research and contributing strategy to presentations and proposals. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or related field. 

  • Proven experience in client-facing strategy development, agency cross departmental collaboration, and new business support on a strategic level. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for people and relationship-building. 

  • Understanding of creative agency work, common deliverables, and industry trends. 

  • Strong data collection and analysis skills to derive actionable insights. 

  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively to meet engagement targets. 

  • Innovative mindset with a startup mentality, eager to shape and evolve community strategies.
