The Service Technician IV will work in-house and travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
8-10 years of crane service technician experience.
CAL-OSHA Inspector Certified (Preferred)
Mastered required skill sets for trainee, Level I, Level II, and Level III
Proficient in managing projects of large scales, including quote preparation, pre-job meeting, staging of materials, preparing timeline of job tasks, daily onsite paperwork, lift plans, job hazard analysis, etc.
Shows ability to be a leader, and a willingness to mentor less experienced Technicians.
Strong communication skills.
Proficient in customer service, ability to understand customer needs and address them correctly.
Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand/walk 95% of the work day.
Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
Possess the ability to hear.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.
Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
