STV, a leading transportation and infrastructure company, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Structural Bridge Leaderto join our team in one of our West Coast offices. Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the bridge practice, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Lead project teams as the Project Manager/Design Manager and deliver projects on time and within scope.

  • Monitor project performance, analyze financial metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary to optimize project outcomes.

  • Ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary requirements.

  • Manage collaboration between owner, design team, and contractor.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to identify business opportunities and secure new projects.

  • Lead key Bridge pursuits and prepare bid documents including design, schedule, cost estimate, etc.

  • Drive business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and negotiations, to expand the company's portfolio of bridge projects.

  • Stay informed about industry structural and bridge trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in bridge construction and engineering.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the bridge practice in our Western Region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Structures preferred.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; additional licensure (e.g., Structural Engineer) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in bridge design and project management.

  • Proven track record of successfully winning and delivering bridge projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build new and maintain existing relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated business development experience, including key relationships, proposal writing, client presentations, and contract negotiations.

  • Deep understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to bridge construction and engineering.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and client meetings.

  • Certified Project Manager a plus

Compensation Range:

$184,122.00 - $245,496.00
