We are looking for an experienced Production Automation Supervisor with knowledge and experience in manufacturing.

Essential Functions
  • Ability to Operate all automation manufacturing equipment (including freezer technology) efficiently and safely.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance/repairs for kitchen equipment replace worn or broken parts, disassembling, cleaning all parts, making the necessary mechanical repairs, adjustments, or replacements.
  • Repair equipment such as but not limited to label machines, and apple coring machines.
  • Reach out to equipment suppliers for parts and repair information.
  • Instruct new employees on proper procedures including safety and efficiency on any machinery!
  • Oversee equipment changeovers and sanitation activities.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with 110/220 amps, 3 phase electricity.
  • Must have the ability to consistently follow safe work practices and procedures, particularly while lifting, carrying tools, maintaining equipment, etc.
  • Maintains accurate electronic database of repair and maintenance activities, including parts usage and time.
  • Maintains required equipment inspection processes.
  • Operate production equipment to meet production needs while maintaining the highest product standards!
  • Support maintenance team when required.
  • Prepare an emergency plan for major machinery breakdown, loss of electricity.
  • REASONING ABILITY to perform critical thinking skills to problem solve and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure proper PPE’s are utilized where necessary
  • Understands, follows, and improves documented operational, maintenance, and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) work environment in conjunction with FSQ
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Able to prioritize and manage workload in a changing environment.
  • Perform and support any task assigned by the Manager.
 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of mechanical or maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and OSHA guidelines
  • Language skills, ability to speak, read, write, in English must be able to interpret documents such as a safety rules, and general instructions.
  • Must be knowledgeable with MS Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and perform continuous, active, physical effort. Work may require the use of specialized safety equipment. Prolonged period(s) of standing required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirement and lock out tag out procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently effectively.
  • The employee must be able to work in a cold-freezer or hot environment on a frequent basis.
  • Leadership experience

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of t\\hose that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Full use of arms, hands, and legs, must be able to squat or kneel and to bend along with sustaining repetitive motion, reaching, handling/feeling frequently (60-90% of the time) is required to enable the applicant to accomplish daily tasks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and stand for long periods of time and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours in a 24/7/365 work environment.  Flexibility with weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
