Job Description
Summary
The Account Supervisor ensures flights are serviced and catered, meets customer requirements, and prevents aircraft departure delays.  Attentive to last-minute changes required by our customers.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties
  • Ensure all catering is transported with adherence to all SOPs, safety guidelines, and internal quality assurance programs.
  • Prepares a plan for each account to identify what and how short and long-term may be met.
  • Forecasts the demand for products and equipment.
  • Contacts customers on a regular basis to maintain account relationships.
  • Identify and communicate operational risks and process improvement recommendations using daily process observations and ongoing analysis of performance data.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and in-the-moment resolution to achieve operating goals.
  • Support investigations into safety incidents, including corrective action planning.
  • Facilitate partnerships with Quality Food Safety and operational safety teams.
  • Conduct spot checks evaluating equipment, food, and beverage inventory levels.
  • Provide intelligence over key cost drivers or outstanding cost drivers.
  • Assist as directed on ad hoc projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Competent to work independently within the area of expertise.
  • Ability to solve quality-related problems.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of compliance situations and implement continuous improvement.
  • Knows and follows all safety requirements; strives to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Effectively gives and receives feedback; willingly asks questions and seeks direction as needed.
  • Must be able to function within a team environment.
  • On call 24 hours/7 days a week to respond to crisis situations to provide guidance on delays, flight cancellations, and other irregularities.
 

Experience/Education
  • High School equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver’s license and the ability to pass the airport and US Customs background check..
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, USDA, and FDA compliance preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in an flight kitchen environment, and this position will routinely uses flight kitchen equipment. The facility is widely refrigerated and requires work inside refrigerated processing areas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods and reach with hands and arms. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.  Days and hours of work may vary depending on the needs of the business. 
Must be willing to work any shift or days off as leadership assigns.
