C&G is seeking an Engineer in support of the PMS377 LHA(R) Program, the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR)/Combat System (CS) technical support Team Lead will manage a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) providing systems engineering and technical expertise for C4I/CS shipboard system upgrades, integration, and configuration management. Manage the support team in:
- Developing Preliminary Engineering Change Proposals (PECPs), Waterfront Change packages, work items, and administrative package changes. Integrate system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets.
- Develop response rationale for Government Furnished Information Deficiencies (GFIDs), Condition Reports, and Trial Cards.
- Using AutoCAD to develop design.
- Supporting meetings with the customer.
- Providing coordination/liaison with other Government agencies to address and resolve technical issues.
- Participating in shipboard trial events.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline and a minimum 5 years of experience of direct experience.
- In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding (acquisition, design, production, test and trials) is required.
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy CS, C4ISR, and Air Traffic Control (ATC) system functionalities and interfaces.
- An understanding of PMS377, PEO Ships, NAVSEA, and supporting organizational processes, roles, and responsibilities is highly desirable.
- Experience with integrating system changes to cable block diagrams and cable running sheets is required.
- AutoCAD proficiency, an in-depth knowledge of U.S Navy Amphibious Ship C4ISR systems and interfaces, and familiarity with PEO C4I and the Space and Naval Warfare. Systems Command (SPAWAR) organizations is highly desirable.
