Overview

Our Environmental Sector delivers comprehensive environmental solutions to meet the full project lifecycle needs of clients in renewable energy, oil - gas, transportation, and manufacturing industries. With one of the largest multimedia air and land permitting and compliance teams in the country, we support client success in manufacturing and industry, liquids delivery and processing, natural gas storage and delivery, power generation and delivery, and transportation projects.

TRC has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager with our Air Measurements Services (AMS) Practice, based out of our Santa Ana, CA office. The successful candidate will work with a talented staff already in place to continue serving clients and generating new growth in the surrounding area.


Responsibilities

  • Performing scientific emission test procedures such as EPA Stack Testing Methods under the Codes of Federal Regulations
  • Prepare proposals, test protocols and reports
  • Sample collection at facility emissions points that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Manage project financial performance, including invoicing
  • Manage client relationships and project execution
  • Lead teams in the field
  • Successfully complete all required annual safety training
  • Data analysis and interpretation

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass an initial drug screen (including marijuana), and on-going random drug checks
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • A current and valid passport is a plus
  • B.S. in related science or engineering field or equivalent work history, with a minimum of five years stack testing experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulations (CFR parts 60, 63, and 75) and EPA quality assurance and guidance documents
  • QI certification in Groups I, II and III
  • Experience with 40CFR60 and 75 RATAs
  • Willingness/ability to travel at least 50%

In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: compensation range is $70K-$100K based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.

In addition, the selected candidate(s) may be offered an Air Emissions Testing position in Level I, II, or III depending on experience and other factors.

Salary Range
